This original recipe lets you combine the delights of maple with the classic summer drink of sangria, thanks to our delicious VERSANT ÉRABLE.

Sangria ingredients :
- 2 cups VERSANT ÉRABLE
- 2 oz maple syrup
- 1 cup homemade lemonade (see recipe below)
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 4 cardamom seeds
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- Orange slices (for garnish)
- Ice cubes
Ingredients for homemade lemonade :
- 1 cup lemon juice (about 3 to 4 large lemons)
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar
- 7 cups water
Making homemade lemonade :
- In a large beverage container, combine lemon juice and water.
- Add 1/2 cup sugar and mix well.
- Taste and adjust the amount of sugar according to your preference (add up to 1/4 cup extra if necessary).
- Refrigerate until cold.
Making sangria :
- In a 1.5 L (6-cup) pitcher, pour the Maple VERSANT, maple syrup, homemade lemonade and fresh orange juice.
- Add the cardamom seeds and cinnamon sticks.
- Fill the pitcher with ice cubes and stir gently with a spoon until the pitcher freezes your fingers.
- Decorate with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
- Add fruit to taste.
