Agreement : Grand Coteau
Ingredients for meatballs
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground lamb
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped mint
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander seeds
- 1 tablespoon harissa (or hot sauce)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Ingredients for the mint mayonnaise
- 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon harissa
- Juice of half a lemon
- Zest of half a lemon
- 1/2 bunch of mint, coarsely chopped
Other ingredients
- 6 nice slices of goat cheese such as the Bûchette de la Suisse Normande from Lanaudière (you can replace the goat cheese by Gruyère cheese)
- 6 sesame burger buns
- 1 cup arugula or spinach
Instructions
Mix the mayonnaise ingredients and set aside in the refrigerator.
Mix the ingredients for the meatballs and form 6 meatballs. Cook the meatballs on the BBQ or in a pan for 6 to 7 minutes on each side. Butter the breads and toast them.
