Profile
Grown on the slopes of Mont Rougemont, where they benefit from exceptional south-facing exposure, our apples fully express the richness of our terroir. Ambre is crafted by fortifying apple juice intended for the production of our ice ciders with apple brandy from our estate. It is then aged for 60 months in French oak barrels, where time shapes its depth, balance, and remarkable complexity.
Winemaker’s Note
Its amber color with coppery highlights hints at a spirit of great elegance. The nose reveals a generous aromatic palette blending candied apple, dried fruits, vanilla, mild spices, and a delicate hint of oak. On the palate, the attack is full-bodied and warm, supported by a lovely freshness that highlights the richness of the fruit and the finesse of the long aging process. The long, lingering finish reveals subtle notes of caramel, noble oak, and spices.
